TWO IBF TITLE ELIMINATION BOUTS FEATURED ON STELLAR FIVE FIGHT UNDERCARD OF THE 2007 BOXING WORLD CUP – MEXICO VS. THE PHILIPPINES

 The card is set for the warriors of Mexico and The Philippines, with seven bouts on August 11th as they compete in the 2007 Boxing World Cup at the ARCO Arena in Sacramento, California.

#1 contender Rey “Boom Boom” Bautista (23-0, 17 KO’s) of Bohol, Philippines.  

 

WBO Bantamweight Champion

Jhonny Gonzalez (34-5, 29 KO’s) of Mexico City

vs.

Former World Champion Gerry Penalosa (51-6-2, 34 KO’s) of Manila.

In a 10 round junior bantamweight battle:

 Eric Ortiz (33-7, 25 KO’s) of Mexico City, MX

vs.

Mandaue City’s Z Gorres (26-2-1, 14 KO’s) of Mandaue City

  

An IBF Junior Flyweight Title shot will be on the line.
